We offer a 90 day guarantee. You can cancel at any time during this time and get a full refund. Please note that this doesn’t cover optional extras and specialist services – but we will let you know which services are optional extras, if you should ask for them. That said, we always encourage new clients to hold off on the optional extra services until a few months after launch, since most clients find that they don’t really need them anyway. Yes. We can use your existing domain and create you the same email addresses as you had before. You can migrate content from your old website if you like but you may prefer to start fresh. |

We can help you choose and obtain the best domain name available for you. It will be painless. |

We have more than one clinic. Can the one website be used for both?

How long will it take to launch my new website?
After we have everything we need from you, a new website can be launched in as little as a week. |

What input do you need from me to get my website launched?
We need you to tell us things like your design choices, email account requirements and some info about your local area (so that we can help you get momentum to be found locally in Google). Besides these, we need things like your logo, contact details, your own page contents, photos etc. Some of these are not required to launch your website; they can be added or changed easily at a later time. |

What do I do when I need help?
We are offering you an ongoing service, not a used car. We understand that if we look after you and offer tremendous value, we will be friends for a long time. So if you have any questions or require help with anything, just get in touch. |

Can I get exclusivity for my region, so only I have a PhysioPulse website?
No, and there is a good reason. When it comes to your website, other clinics in your region are not really your competition – it is the misconception and ignorance that the public has about health and what it takes to remain healthy. Through educational content, visitor interactivity and communication, a PhysioPulse powered website aims to create advocates of physiotherapy and fans of your practice. If the public was better educated and had a more positive attitude towards their wellbeing, wouldn't it make your life easier? How do I cancel my package?

Can I just get you to set up my new website without the ongoing service?
No. Our service and website management platform are all integrated. If you want a stand-alone website, we can build one for you - but it won't have access to our Content Libraries and other integrated features or ongoing updates. |

What are design skins? Why would I choose a pre-made design?
While all PhysioPulse websites utilize the same platform, content syndication, back-bone and functionality, they can all look quite different. We have a growing number of design skins for you to choose from (take them for a test drive). Use of design skins ensures that you get a "proven" layout, that is user friendly and facilitates the excellent features we offer. It also means that you know exactly what your website will look like from the outset (i.e. no surprises). |

Can I change my mind later? Maytbe I'd like to apply a different look each year.
Sure! There's a little work for us to do, like re-apply your logo to the new design. But once a year change is free. |

Can a design be customised?
For an added fee, we are can customise the colour scheme and background images of your preferred design skin. |

What if I want a completely different design, not a pre-made design?
For an added fee, we can design and develop a unique custom design skin just for you; it will be designed in consultation with you by our professional designers to reflect your unique business personality and needs. Contact us for examples. |

Can I add my own pages?
Yes, you can add as many of your own pages as you like and easily sort them into logical sections. You can even mark any page as "member-only access", so only your website members can view them. Great for promos! There’s no danger of breaking anything when you add pages. We’ve locked off the layout so your pages will look good. |

Can I include pictures in my pages?
Sure; pictures, videos and more. It is very easy to do. |

What are Content Libraries? What "done-for-me" content do I get?
Our Content Library consists of main collections:
These are prepared by professional copywriters experienced in the field. There are many sections and pages of content from which you can select for inclusion into your website. You can easily exclude pages that are not relevant to your practice (e.g. you may not offer hydrotherapy). The pages that you do include in your website from our Content Libraries are partially customised with your practice name, suburb/town or main contact person's name. Furthermore, they can be wholly edited to your liking. The Healthy living Content Library is available (by default) to members only. I.e. a visitor would need to become a member or login before gaining access to these pages. This is intended to encourage memberships. However this setting can be changed to make all content open to all visitors. When we add new content to the Content Libraries, you would receive an email to let you know and invite you to review and accept/edit/reject the new pages. Unless you reject them, they will later go live on your website on the specified "go live" date. |

Can I edit or delete content that is not quite suited to my clinic?
Of course. We provide you with an easy-to-use Admin Console from where you can add or edit any content page (including images and text), disable specific pages or entire sections of content from your website. |

Can I add a Facebook counter, Google Map, YouTube video, calendar of events, or other cool stuff?
Yes! It is easier than you may imagine. |

What are plug-ins and how do they help my website?
Plug-ins are small tools or features that increase the functionality or effectiveness of your website. Examples include an internal search function, Facebook "Like" button, send-to-friend function etc. These can all be turned off or on as you wish. |

There are too many features. How do I tone down my website a little?
Sure. Any feature or plug-in can be turned off. You may also like to switch to a design that is more minimal. When features or plug-ins are turned off, the related settings are also hidden from your Admin Console – making it easier to use also. |

How do can I be more "in-your-face" and draw more attention to my content?
There are many options to make your content really "POP". You can add highlights, quotes, calls-to-action, videos, audio and more. |

Can I upload patient intake forms or class timetables or eBooks etc for download?
Of course. This is a great idea. |

I want to insert functionality from another service. Is this possible?
Quite possibly. We integrate with a number of 3rd party tools; this makes it possible to extend what your website can already do. For example, you can add a PayPal "buy" button to sell one-off items, or insert a Google Calendar of your class timetables. |

Who are "members"? How does someone become a member of my website?
Members are visitors who have registered with your website to receive notifications and gain access to the members-only sections of your website. Any visitor can become a member of your website in less than a minute, by providing their name, email and nominating a password. They will then receive an email asking them to click a special link to verify their membership request. This prevents people from registering others to your website without their consent (and avoiding spam issues). You can encourage memberships by providing offers or promotions. Hiding useful content behind a "member-only" page is also a good way to get people to sign up as a member. You can even add your patients as members yourself, simply by getting their permission on your patient intake form. |

Why would I need a membership system on my website?
Memberships enable you to maintain a regular communication with a target group of people. This helps you build an online community and can ensure that people don’t forget you. It also gives you a base to promote your services to people who are interested. You can encourage memberships by providing offers or promotions. I collect email addresses of new patients. Can I manually add them as members?
If you have an existing email list that you have collected over time, we can import it straight into your members database. You can also sign up members to your website straight in your clinic - simply tell them about it and ask if they would like to be added. You can then add them directly into the database from your PhysioPulse Admin Console, bypassing the verification process. |

What about spam issues? What if my members don't want newsletters from us anymore?
Every member is required to "double opt-in" - which means that they will need to verify that they want to become a member by clicking on a unique link that is emailed to them during registration. As a result, you know that every verified member has specifically requested to become a member, wants access to all of your website and receive information and newsletters from you. If a member no longer wants to receive communication from you, it is easy to unsubscribe. |

I see there's a monthly newsletter generated each month. Who does this?
We prepare newsletters monthly, aimed at educating and inviting members back to your website for a repeat visit thereby keeping you in contact with them. |

How will I know what is in each newsletter? How do I approve or edit it before it is sent?
We will send you a copy of the newsletter a few days in advance so that you may view and/or edit it. |

How do I send out my own news or promotions to my members?
Using your PhysioPulse Admin Console, simply enter a subject and your message then click send. The message will be sent to your members. You can do this as many times as you like, and it is just perfect for monthly specials, other promotions, change of hours or contact details etc. Of course, you may like to add your promotions to your auto-prepared monthly newsletters instead. |

How does Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) help?
If someone uses Google to search for the services you offer, you want pages from your website to appear in the search results list. This is particularly the case if the users are local to your clinic. If someone conducts a search for physiotherapy in Timbuktu, it is not of much interest to you (unless your clinic is in Timbuktu), because your business is inherently local in nature. If pages from your website appear in the search results, and in particular the first page, then there is a good chance that this person will click the link and arrive at your website. The process of Search Engine Optimisation simply aligns your website content with the possible searches your potential clients are likely conduct (i.e. target keywords). This alignment, among other things increases the chances of your pages getting to the first page for the relevant searches. Remember – at the end of the day, search engines such as Google became so popular because they know how to give their users results that are valuable. If the only results they returned were manipulated by website owners who have a different agenda, then people will stop using the search engine. Hence it is very hard to trick search engines (in fact, your website can get banned if you try). But SEO works within parameters that simply makes the search engine "see" that your website is worthy to be on page one. |

Will you help me with SEO?
Before your website is launched, we ask you a few questions to determine the most obvious "target keywords" that your website should ideally list for. When your website has launched, we will perform a basic level of SEO, to help your website start picking up momentum in search engine listings. How much local competition you have in your area usually determines your chances of getting on the first page of Google (and others). If there is not much competition for your services in your town, then it is usually quite quick to get to first page. If you have a lot of competition, remember that everyone wants to get to page 1. So you may need additional help with advanced SEO services. Either way, we can help. |

How long will it take before I see results from an SEO campaign?
Search engines are like a black box. It is not possible for anyone to manipulate their rankings. The only thing to do is to ensure that your website is deemed by the search engines to be worthy to be on the first page. Even after all the experience and know-how, this is still somewhat a trial and error process, that requires analysis of competition, your content and many other factors. Then it is a regular task of implementing the strategies, testing and measuring before going back to do more analysis of results. Although in some cases, you can see results as soon as a few months, for long-term sustained SEO strategy, expect 6 months minimum. |

What is Google Places? Will I need it?
Have you seen search results in Google when a business appears in a little map, or shows various information before you even click through to their website? OR you may have noticed how some businesses are listed in Google Maps (or on your iPhone map). This is what "Google Places management" will do for you. Your business will definitely benefit from getting onto Google Places. There are similar offerings from Bing and Yahoo also. To manage these yourself is not difficult, but it can take time and patience. If you have better things to do, we can manage this process for you. |

How do I start and maintain a blog at my website?
We've made it super easy for you to start and maintain a blog at your website. Your blog posts are searchable, RSS feed enabled and make it easy for visitors to make comments. Our blogging module is not as well-featured as the industry standards such as WordPress, but that is deliberate; there's less to confuse you so you can focus on writing rather than learning to use the tool. However if you have never blogged before, you should note that some commitment and thought is required for a successful blog. |

What happens when a visitor requests an appointment via my website?
Comments left on your website pages by visitors need to be approved first by you through your Admin Console, before they are visible on the page. This ensures that any inappropriate comments are filtered out. |

We have a Facebook page for our clinic. How can I link it to my website?
Simply use your Admin Console to supply your Facebook page URL. The rest is automatic. Visitors can "Like" your Facebook fan page straight from your website. |

We have a Twitter account. How can I link it to my website?
Simply use your Admin Console to supply your Twitter username. The rest is automatic. Your latest tweet will automatically be displayed on your website. No update necessary. |

How can I add patient testimonials to my website?
Simply activate the testimonials plug-in. You can then start adding testimonials via your Admin Console. Doing it this way (as opposed to just creating a page and dumping all your testimonials on it) enables your website to display random testimonials through your website and makes their presentation more consistent. |

What is hosting? Do I need to pay extra for it?
Hosting is a required service, that enables your website to be available on the Internet. Without hosting, your website would never see the light of day. Hosting fees are included in your monthly service fee. |

Yes. You can get as many as you need. |

Technical question: Will I get FTP access?
No, we don't provide FTP access as this could compromise the security of our platform and services. |
